Global Knives revolutionized the design of fine cutlery with the stainless steel handle and blade. The three piece construction, blade and two handle halves, are welded or forged (depending on the model), for a seamless, hygienic, and uniquely balanced instrument. Global Knives are made from the finest stainless steel material. The blades utilize Molybdenum/vanadium stainless steel, Ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell C56º–58º which holds a razor sharp edge longer than any other steel and resists rust, stains and corrosion. Like the Samurai swords before them, each knife is carefully weighted to ensure perfect balance in the hand. To obtain its super sharp edge, Global sharpens the face of the edge straight to a point rather than just beveling the tip as competing brands do.
