Kershaw Shun Knives
Founded in 1974 by Pete Kershaw, Kershaw-Shun has earned a reputation for quality, design and beauty. Many items are presented in a handsome bamboo presentation gift box. And, they're manufactured in the United States, in Tualatin, Oregon.

The forged steel blade is VG-10 clad with 16 layers of SUS410 high-carbon stainless steel on each side to produce a rust-free Damascus-look blade. The incredibly sharp edge not only holds longer with the VG-10, but is also easier to maintain. Not only beautiful, the Damascus design also reduces food's ability to stick to the blade.

The Kershaw Shun Classic "D" shape Pakkawood (resin impregnated hardwood) handle along with the offset stainless steel bolster provide both ergonomic function and beauty. Each piece is presented in a handsome, presentation gift box.

Global Knives
Global Knives revolutionized the design of fine cutlery with the stainless steel handle and blade. The three piece construction, blade and two handle halves, are welded or forged (depending on the model), for a seamless, hygienic, and uniquely balanced instrument.

Global Knives are made from the finest stainless steel material. The blades utilize Molybdenum/vanadium stainless steel, Ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell C56-58 which holds a razor sharp edge longer than any other steel and resists rust, stains and corrosion.

Like the Samurai swords before them, each knife is carefully weighted to ensure perfect balance in the hand. To obtain its super sharp edge, Global sharpens the face of the edge straight to a point rather than just beveling the tip as competing brands do.
