LANCET
The original classic William Henry's first design
still going strong more than 10 years later. The Lancet defined, and
continues to define, the essential gentleman's folder in the modern
world. Sleek, elegant, refined, and comfortable in the hand and to the
eye. Like many of our designs, the Lancet offers maximum flexibility and
utility simply an exceptional daily carry tool, worthy of virtually
any cutting task that comes along. Winner of multiple industry awards,
in a variety of iterations over the years, the patterns shown here are
all new limited edition offerings continuing the Lancet's legacy in
fine cutlery.
Note the choices of frame materials in this
collection: The first three models use aerospacegrade titanium alloy
(6Al/4V titanium) for lightweight durability, corrosion resistance, and
subtle elegance. Model WMGC uses our patent pending Wave Mokume, crafted
from 55 layers of copper, iron, and nickel silver which are patterned
and heat colored. Models MCT and MBH both feature hand-forged mokume
made from 89 layers of copper, brass and nickel silver and finished with
5 step polish and antiquing patina. Finally, model DMTW features
hand-forged damascus, in a traditional ladder pattern, which is built
from multiple layers of two alloys of steel and acid etched to reveal
the undulating pattern in the material.
Along with a new range of
materials and combinations, we now offer the Lancet in an interframe
handle version, completely redesigned with an optional clip/lanyard
carry system. In titanium, this knife is so lightweight that it can
comfortably clip in a dress shirt pocket like a fine pen, without
pulling at the fabric
Each piece is engraved with two distinct
numbers a serial number on the blade and limited edition number on the
leading edge of the handle. The numbers, along with the details about
the knife's construction, are listed in the included Certificate of
Authenticity.
